On November 10th, thousands of IT managers, vendors, and engineers descended on central Florida. Considered to be one of the best networking events of the year, IT Nation provides opportunities for solution providers to mingle with new vendors and network with peers.
The event provided the managed service providers with information about methods and procedures covering everything from running your business to setting up reports from an SQL database CRM solution.
Preferred IT took part in the event by leveraging connections and meeting vendors to provide new and better quality products to our customers. IT Nation also allowed us to see the roadmap that some vendors are moving towards and the exciting new features that will come with them.
The Keynote speaker from CNBC’s The Profile, Marcus Lemonis, was thought provoking in many ways. The discussion was not what you would typically expect from a business directed event. Instead, Marcus opened up about his past personal struggles and his fears. He invited audience members to open up and speak aloud about their own fears. What was most fascinating was that most of the people who spoke all had the same fear… the fear of failing. Marcus went on to discuss how it is important to share those fears with your family and work together on a resolution.
In hindsight, the event was a success. We came away with a new appreciation for our business, our customers, and our peers. As always, our goal is to offer a world class level of hassle free support. By attending events like these, Preferred IT Group learns from the industry’s leaders how to bring the best and most cost-effective solutions to our clients.
