We are rounding out the Fort Wayne lunch locations series with the best part of any meal: dessert! Don’t forget to save room for these delicious treats!

DeBrand – We couldn’t make this list without including everyone’s favorite chocolatier. DeBrand was started in 1987 by local Fort Wayne resident, Cathy Brand-Beere. Of course, the chocolates are the true stars of this place, but don’t miss out on their to-die-for sundaes.

Baker Street – Baker Street is mostly known for its steak, but its flourless chocolate cake is worth mentioning! Topped with raspberry sauce and fresh creame, you can’t go wrong with the Kiss Goodnight. Pair it with a glass of Cabernet from Baker Street’s extensive collection.

Sweets So Geek – Adorably nerdy, Sweets So Geek has a vast selection of chocolate, cupcakes, and other desserts for geeks of all ages. They opened in 2011, and have been delighting people ever since with their themed goodies. Their treats are constantly changing, so you’re always in for a surprise!

Poptique – Poptique creates unique flavored popcorn for those of us who love the sweet and salty treats. If you’re feeling adventurous, try the local favorite: Hoosier Style (caramel and cheddar). Otherwise, stick with something extra sweet like the Tuxedo Caramel which is drizzled in both white and milk chocolate.

Hall’s Takes the Cake – For our favorite cake, go to Hall’s! You can grab just a few cupcakes, or order a specialty cake for any occasion. They’ve got awesome flavors (our favorites are the Almond and the Raspberry Lemonade), and the cakes always come out great!
